The United Nations Security Command (UNSC) is an international political organization that handles matters related to trade, travel, land between the United States of America, the European Federation, the United Korean Republic, etc. Their military force is represented by the Strategic Armed Teamed Organization (SATO). It was opposed by the Federation of the Americas and the United Earth Regime during the Federation War. Despite it being supposedly military weaker, the United Nations Security Command ultimately claimed victory during the Federation War.

In the year 2077, it had been two years since the outbreak of the Federation-American War, and the Federation had killed an estimated 37 Million Americans after hijacking the Americans Orbital Defense Initiative. The European Federation, who had lost its territories in the Federation invasion of French Guinea and Guyana. The Europeans and the Americans had found themselves in a rough spot, they were completely outmatched by the Federation, but feeling a moment of comradery, the two realized they had to unite if they wanted any chance at survival.

In the year 2078, the European Federation, United Korean Republic, India, Japan, Canada, and the United States all came together in Toronto, Canada, forming the United Nations Security Command, or UNSC for short. This was a unification between the economies, militaries, and command structure of these nations, but there governments would remain separate. This combined alliance would include the territories that the European Federation claimed in Africa and Asia. Together, they could make a formidable opponent to the Federation of the Americas.

The United Nations Security Command, at least unofficially, does not have an existing government. However, most of its members, except regarding the Russian Federation, Peoples Republic of China, and the Kingdom of Trinidad, are first world democratic nations. Since the UNSC's victory over the Federation of the Americas in the Federation War, there has been talks of unification into a United Earth Government, but it seems unlikely this will ever be the case.

The UNSC Armed Forces consists of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force. Even though the Federation of the Americas had the largest army in the world, the UNSC had a force equal in strength to those operated by the Federation of the Americas. However, though unlike the Federation, the UNSC military is a volunteer based organization. Although the Federation has more soldiers per capita than the UNSC, the combined populations of the UNSC is significantly more populated than the Federation, balancing out the equation.

The UNSC Ground Forces, more commonly known as the Army, is the largest of the group, with combined arms from all the main powers of the UNSC. These included, Americans, Japanese, Korean, European, Indian, and eventually Russian. The combined arms of the UNSC did have some setbacks, such as ethnic tension between Japanese and Korean forces, as well as setbacks in battle tactics. However, the United Nations Security Command does have some advantages over the Federation in terms of availability of the manpower.

The UNSC Air Force is another important division of the UNSC. The Air Force is once again a combined arms between the technologies of its founding members. This included different fighter jets, helicopters, and other Arial vehicles from each nation. This variety in equipment is very challenging to the UNSC in terms of training and maintenance, compared to the Federations standardized air force. However, this leads to a significant advantage in development of future technologies. This wasn't just limited to the air force, but the ground forces and navy to.

The Federation Navy and Coast Guard is the second largest of the group, and is a combination between the US, European, Japanese, Korean, Indian, and later Russian Navies. While ultimately they are still no match for the Federation Navy in terms of size, the UNSC Navy in terms of military power is almost equal to that of the Federation. The UNSC has a total of 15 Aircraft Carriers, compared to the Federations 28, but the UNSC's appear to be smaller and easier to build compared to the Federations. The UNSC also has destroyers such as the Calico and Tenorrean, which are almost a capable match to the Federations SCITMAR and AEGIS Class Destroyers. The Federation might have the numbers game, but in terms of power they were both at an equal.

The final part of the UNSC is the Space Force. The UNSC Space Force is basically the space soldiers of the UNSC. Originally, the United States was the first nation to have a weaponized space fleet, however by this point it had grown to involve the European Federation, Russian Federation, and Federation of the Americas. The UNSC Space Force however is smaller than the Federations Space Force. Despite all of the setbacks, the United Nations Security Command proved a formidable opponent in the terms of space weaponry.

The United Economy of the United Nations Security Command isn't really a unification of each nations economies, but a cooperation of economies between each founding nation. The reason for this is some of its members had different ideals of how to achieve economics. For example, the US Government and European Federation had influence over there economies, while the economies of Japan and the United Korean Republic were more loose when it came to production of goods and services.

Ultimately when Russia joined the UNSC's side in the Federation War, the UNSC was forced to loosen its ties on the economies between its members. Because Russia was an Authoritarian State and had say in its means of production, Russia had decided to not join the UNSC's unified economic structure, but fully participated in the unified command and military structure. This wasn't normally a problem for the United Nations Security Command, but without a unified industrial complex, the Federation was still able to outproduce all of the members, even with the combined economies. This ultimately is what allowed the Federation to continue to fight the war despite losing its territory in Europe, the US, Africa, and Asia.

Federation War

After the formation of the UNSC, the Federation fired back by forming the "Confederacy of Independent Nations" with its allies, the Peoples Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and its other allies in Africa and Asia. Ultimately, this alliance had the largest industrial complex in the world, and ultimately it could outproduce the United Nations Security Command. Even worse, the difference in battle tactics between the allies allowed the Federation to eventually conquer every single US State West of the Mississippi River by the year 2079.

In 2080, after the Federation launched an invasion of Europe and Southeast Asia in conjunction with the Peoples Republic of China and Iran, the European Federation was forced to surrender, leaving Canada and the United States of America some of the remaining members of the UNSC. Given the seriousness of the situation, the United Nations Security Command was forced to rethink its strategy, and fight a defensive war instead of an offensive war. By 2081, the UNSC was on the verge of defeat, but luckily the UNSC managed to stop the Federation Advance.

In 2083, the UNSC's remnants decided to launch a last ditch effort against the Federation. The UNSC landed in New York City and Boston on March 23rd, 2083 in hopes to retake the US Eastern Seaboard. Surprisingly the offensive worked, and the UNSC began pushing into the mainland United States. Testing there luck, the UNSC decided to launch an attack against the US West Coast. The offensive were a success due to the Federations cockiness and disorganization, but unfortunately, the discovery of the American Massacre ultimately curbed the UNSC's optimism.

In 2084, the Russian Federation joined the Federation War after an incident in which Russian Diplomates were executed by the Federation after the Russians refused to agree to Federation terms. Russia, who had been leaning away from the Federation cause, ultimately crossed into the occupied European Federation and attacked. Over the course between 2084 and 2086, the UNSC with help from the Russians ultimately gained ground in the war, liberating both Europe, Africa, and the Middle East in the process. Although the Peoples Republic of China and Russia settled there differences, the PRC and the United States continued to fight indirectly.

In 2087, after the discovery of Project ZUES, the newly strengthened United Nations Security Command commenced Operation Scorched Earth on July 5th, 2087. A full scale invasion of the Federation of the Americas, using everything the UNSC could muster up. Although hundreds of lives were sacrificed in the process, ultimately the UNSC somehow managed to achieved a miracle victory over the Federation, ending the Federation War officially on July 15th, 2087.

Together, all of these members contribute both militarily and economically to the United Nations Security Command. Some of the nations of the United Nations Security Command are not really official members, but are occupied states that were left after the Federation War. These members include, but are not Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Some of the members, such as the Trinidad Kingdom, were new states that formed after the dissolution of the Federation of the Americas.

The Flag of the United Nations Security Command is pale blue like the flag of the United Nations. Like the United Nations flag, Pale Blue was chosen to represent peace and solidarity between the members. In the center of the flag however, instead of the United Nations Emblem, is an eagle that is supposed to represent the strength of the UNSC. The Eagle is shown standing above what appears to be planet, presumably Planet Earth. This appears to symbolize that the UNSC is the defenders of Planet Earth, and presumably the solar system. To add to this, the Eagle is surrounded by three rings, supposedly for the three separate commands of the UNSC, the Military, Economy, and Government. On the third ring, there is eight starts that are inscribed in the third ring. These stars are supposed to represent the founding members, the United States, European Federation, Canada, the United Korean Republic, Japan, India, Australia, and South Africa. They are positioned in a circle formation around the Eagle, supposedly to symbol unity. The final part of the flag is the banner on the bottom, with the letters "UNSC" escribed on it.

This flag became the standard flag for the United Nations Security Command, and it was marked on vehicles of the militaries of each member. The letters "UNSC" and the Eagle and the Earth were escribed on helmets. The flag soon was sewed onto military uniforms of each members militaries, and it became an iconic symbol after the Federation War. Today, the UNSC Flag ranks amongst one of the most recognized flags in the world, even more than the flag of the United States, Nazi Germany, the Federation of the Americas, and even the United Nations. This flag has since become an iconic symbol of the courageous nations who helped in the fight against the Federation of the Americas.

Current Status

As of 2110, the United Nations Security Command is the largest alliance in the known world. The UNSC has since replaced the old United Nations Security Council, and has begun a world wide reconstruction effort to curb the effects of the Federation War. However, the ultimate decisions of the war have caused huge environmental effects of unimaginable scale. One of the biggest was the large oil spills that happened during the war, contaminating fish and wildlife, and Plasma Weapon the Federation Detonated over Chicago, and effects of the ODIN and ZUES projects altered Earths Climate.

In 2100, the conditions on Earth were getting worse. Huge dust storms created from the ODIN and ZUES Strikes were a regular basis inside the Western Hemisphere. These dust storms caused the breadbasket of the Western World, the US Midwest, to start to tank. The use of Plasma Weaponry and having a glassing effect ultimately effected Earths Atmosphere. Large Electromagnetic Storms became frequent across the world, as well as Toxic Rain from the oil spills.

In 2110, the United Nations Security Command members voted in favor to began off-world colonization, with actions being undertaken by individual nations. The hope of the off world colonization is to gather resources for the survival of the human race. However, with the conditions on Earth, it is highly doubtful that the UNSC will continue to see Earth as a natural habitat for Humans.
