April-August: The Coronavirus slowly becomes weaker, mainly because of warmer weather. Life slowly starts to return back to normal. The European Championship and Olympic Games are postponed to 2021.

July: The Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, announces his running mate. It is senator Kamala Harris from California. Harris participated in the primaries, but dropped out.

August 17th-August 20th: The Democratic National Convention is held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

August 24th-August 27th: The Republican National Convention is held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

September: The United Kingdom is the last European country to recover from the Coronavirus outbreak. As a result of the bad handling of the crisis, the confidence in Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Conservative government drops. Health secretary Matt Hancock is fired because of all the mistakes he made during the crisis.

November 3th: Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris defeat incumbent president Donald Trump and his running mate Mike Pence in the 2020 presidential election.
