Technology Level System(Earth 3000)

This Is a list of Technologies on the Earth 3000 Scenario. This scenario was written by Amir Kakra Larbi, who is currently writing a book set in this universe

Tech Level System[]

The United Terran Union adopted this system to classify alien civilizations in 2605. It has 15 levels, from Alpha to Omega, and Humanity in 3000 Is a type Kappa.

Primitive Civilizations(Alpha to Delta)[]

Type Alpha ( Primitive Age)[]

This is used to describe an intelligent civilization that is not technological, similar to the Australopithecus and Homo Habilis of the past. This kind of civilization uses sticks, rocks, or the alien equivalents of each to survive in its environment.Arguably, Earthling octopodes are at this level.

Type Beta.(Stone Age)[]

A type Beta civilization is a stone age civilization that has mastered Fire, and has started making simple shelters. We entered this phase around 1.5 million years ago, with Homo ergaster and erectus. This kind of civilization has art ,music, and the beginnings of a culture. They have cave paintings on their shelters recalling adventures and events.

Type Gamma (Bronze Age)[]

A type Gamma is mostly Neolithic, with some Bronze Age kingdoms scattered around the globe, similar to the Earth during the Height of Egypt, around 1400 BC. They use agriculture and weaker metals, but not Iron yet. They have complex instruments, such as lyres and harps, and have a division of Labor. They use domesticated animals, and slaves for work, and in animals' case, food.

Type Delta (Iron Age)[]

A type Delta civilization is equivalent to Earth during the height of Rome, Persia, and the Han empire. It usually has some smaller kingdoms surrounded by colossal empires. They generally use waterwheels and windmills to supply power, and they generally have recently invented wheels. They may also start using gears.

Technological Civilizations(Delta to Eta)[]

Type Epsilon (Steam Age)[]

A type Epsilon uses steam power, and is in its colonial stage of globalization. It has invented the printing press, and uses tractors for agriculture. It was equivalent to earth in between 1600 and 1880. they rarely use motorized vehicles, and have invented steel. In war they use cannons, and firearms, along with the first steamships. It uses coal and oil to power its machines, which it should stop doing before ~150 years, lest bad things may happen.

Type Zeta (Industrial Age)[]

A type Zeta Civilization uses Motorized vehicles, Primitive Aircraft, and the first Submarines. It uses trains to travel around the the land, and is starting to legitimately think about traveling to its moon(s). It also attains its first Weapons of Mass Destruction, which they may destroy themselves with. It is equivalent from earth from 1880 to 1990.

Type Eta ( Information Age)[]

A type Eta has an established internet, and is creating its first Robots, and brain-computer interfaces. It may develop a universal basic income, and is developing early LLMs. They are beginning to harness cloning and genetic engineering, And is similar to humans during the early 21st century. for entertainment, they watch on streaming services and play video games. They also send probes to other planets. Artificial General Intelligence Is achieved in the later parts of this era, like humanity in 2033.

Spacefaring Civilizations(Eta to Kappa)[]

Type Theta (Genetic Age)[]

This kind of Civilization has a considerable cyborg population, along with advance cloning and geengineering technology. They can travel to near planets, and colonize them, such as Mars, the moon, and the asteroid belt. They have reached the singularity, like Earth in 2047. They also can create fully self-sufficient orbital space stations, and may have built their first space elevator

Type Iota ( Interplanetary Age)[]

A type Iota civilization most likely has intelligent AI, and more than one space elevator. It has colonized most of their inner solar system and may start to have space stations around other planets. They have their first flying cars, and Jetpacks are commercially available. Regular people who are not specialized are starting to live on other planets. Asteroid mining is a successful economic sector and people are starting to live among Jupiter and Saturn's moons. Fusion power is also commercially available. Humanity reached this level in 2124 with the beginning of project Jeevan, to terraform mars and venus. this took centuries. Their first orbital rings around moons are completed. Terraforming usually starts in this era, but takes a long time.

Type Kappa (Stellar Age)[]

A type Kappa is capable of building orbital rings around planets, and may begin work on a Dyson Sphere. They can terraform planets, and have invented FTL space travel. They can also colonize exoplanets, such as Proxima B, C, and D, and gains power from antimatter. They do not play conventional video games anymore, because brain-computer interfaces can make you experience any video game in your mind. They have perfected cloning and can perfectly replicate bodies and minds. Mind uploading is also plausible. Humanity reached this level in 2503, with the orbital ring

Starfaring Civilizations(Kappa to Omicron[]

Type Lambda (Interstellar Age[]

A type Lambda civilization is a fully interstellar civilization that has colonized hundreds of star systems and use Warp Drives for space travel. They also have their first Matryoshka Brain around a star in their empire. They have advanced nanobots, and replicators that can create anything with the appropriate materials. It is revolutionary to kitchens, even though many inhabitants would have genetically engineered themselves to be photosynthetic . The average lifespan would be 1500, and they may have a cure for cancer, not by nanobots, but by cybernetics. Small-scale teleportation is also plausible, with objects the size of a pencil. Humans may enter this phase around 3200

Type Mu(Terraforming Age)[]

A type Mu can harness negative matter, and can harvest the energy of protons and antiprotons. It can now create life from scratch, not even from DNA. It can just make inanimate objects living. NPC characters in NIVR games can now be transplanted into a physical body. They can now create artificial stars, and they can terraform gas giants. Skyscrapers would be tall enough to qualify as space elevators in this civilization. Ecumenopolises. are also plausible in this civilization. Humans may enter this phase around 4000. BCIs connected to replicators can make anything you can imagine physical.

Type Nu (Wormhole Age)[]

A type Nu civilization uses wormhole technology to colonize Millions and millions of stars. Antimatter is a consumer product, and most power is generated by Dark Energy reactors. This kind of civilization could colonize almost all of a galaxy. Large Spacecraft contain black holes. Using starlifting technology, it is possible to terraform stars, and use the remaining hydrogen for fusion power generation. You can now teleport objects the size of a studio apartment. Alderson disks, are also plausible, but people only do that because they can. Humans may enter this phase around 8500

Type Omicron (Galactic Age)[]

Instantaneous Radio communication would be used to talk to friends and Colleagues across the galaxy. Cybernetics and genetic engineering is now outdated, and people prefer to live as pure energy and information. the average IQ would be 600, and since all processes are automated, all AI, and Energy beings devote their time to studying more about the Universe. It is now even possible to Destroy entire Solar Systems at once, from another star. Humans may enter this phase around 15,000 AD

Intergalactic Civilizations(Sigma, Psi, and Omega)[]

Type Sigma (Black Hole Era)[]

A type sigma is a galactic civilization in the process of sending a ship to colonize the black hole at the center of the next galaxy. This civilization is so powerful, that Individual Beings would be able to destroy planets. A type Sigma can create a megastructure the size of a small galaxy. They can create Solar systems, and can create Life out of Anything, even subatomic particles. Black hole bombs are used to destroy galactic arms, and these beings may seed life throughout the galaxies. Hyperdrives are used to colonize other galaxies. People and uploads are now truly immortal, and will live until the last stars die. Humans may be at this phase in 50,000 AD,and can extract Zero point energy

Type Psi (Intergalactic Age)[]

A type Psi has colonized at least a supercluster. These civilizations are able to teleport spaceships and Megastructures. Individuals Almost don't exist, as hive minds are very common among these civilizations, controlled by one central god. They are able to create space, Time travel, and the Universe is like a playground. they are able to control Vacuum Decay, and occupy Hyperspace., Size change is also plausible, so billions of entities can live on atomic nuclei. There are Trigintillions of beings in the Type Psi empire. Humans may reach this in 1-2 billion years.There are no such empires in the observable universe.

Type Omega (Celestial Age)[]

Type Omega Is the Penultimate level of civilization. They can travel through dimensions, create universes, and are controlled by a hive-mind, making it feel like there is one god controlling it all. It can time travel before the big bang, and create completely new energy, violating the laws of thermodynamics. Galaxies are like specks of dust to be blown away, crushed, or collected. Their only flaw is the end Of the universe.

Humans may reach this in 1-2 trillion years

Type Ya(Dimensional Age)[]

Technology ends here. These are multiversal beings that can add decimal dimensions, create universes within the void, and travel outside of the multiverse. A being in this age could exist in every point in time, even before the technology was created to do so.
