35 years from now the world is very different with nuclear war in the early 2020s savaging much of the globe and billions perishing as a result of disease, famine and war. However one surviving bit of civilization will emerge from the darkness to act as the world's Liferaft. Over time this country will extend it's influence across the Pacific and become a major power in it's own right. The year is 2054, the country is New Zealand and the scenario is the World's Liferaft
