The Days of Global Darkness, or sometimes just "The Dark Ages," was a period of history where the world was in a global state of utter chaos and much decentralization. It started in 2016 with the collapse of the troubling Greek economy during the Greek Civil War of 2015-2016 and ended in 2091 with the end of the Brazilian Imperial War. The four most well known people credited with the acceleration of centralization of the world in this era were, known as The Men of Time, consisted of "American" (term used loosely) Commander of the Alliance army John Ryan Evans (b. 1997 d. 2093) for his battle tactics and victories, European political leader James Quincy Wellingtons (b. 2000 d. 2086) for his unification of Europe, Japanese rebel leader Saturo Akisa Masamichi (b. 1999 d. 2092) for his military actions in maintaining peace and a Balance of Power in East Asia, and American Emperor Reinsbeck the Great (b. 1975 d. 2026). This is considered the worst time in human history, as, literally, billions of lives were lost in fighting, hunger and disease. the population of earth went from 7.3 billion in 2016 to roughly four billion by 2050, with other increases and decreases throughout the period. Though there was a 3.3 billion population drop, (there were more deaths than that), but less of a show of loss in the census due to the birth rate remaining steady. Leading up to the DGD[]
2015: The final troops are pulled out of Afghanistan, marking the end of all major fighting on "The War on Terror;" The Greek economy falters greatly, and Greece goes into more chaos; Russia emerges as a world Superpower as the American economy starts to decline; China experiences Isolationism, cutting itself off from the rest of the world, trading only barely to Russia, America, Britain, France and Spain. China then emerges as a world Superpower. The world now has three competing Superpowers, similar to the end of WWII with America, the USSR, and Britain. Many are preparing for another Cold War. At the same time, on November 3rd, southern Greece declares itself a sovereign nation, establishing Sparta as its capital and declaring themselves the United Greek Republic. That same week, northern Greece (the Athenian faction) sends troops in to control the "Rebels," effectively starting The 2015-2016 Greek Civil War; Many Countries see this as a huge threat to the world economy. America, Britain, France, and Germany vocalize their support for the Athenians, while Russia and Poland voice their support for The Spartan Rebels. In December, America, Britain, France, and Germany send troops and supplies to the Athenians and Russia, Poland, and eventually Italy and Ukraine do the same for the Spartans. Eventually, America, Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, and Ireland, who form The Northern Alliance, headed by America, have troops in Athenian-held Greece, while Russia, Poland, Spain, Italy, and Ukraine, who form The Southern-Eastern Powers, headed by Russia, have troops in Spartan-held Greece. This becomes commonly known as WW2.5 or less commonly known as the Proxy World War.
2016: In July, both Greek factions ask that this war remain an internal European conflict, America immediately acknowledges the request and pulls their troops out. Russia, on the other hand, wishes to make Greece a satellite state, or possibly annex it altogether, so it can insure that it remains economically stable, so they ignore the request and increase their troop activity. This results in huge controversy across Europe. Though troops are in Greece fighting each other, there are no official declarations of war. Finally, the Athenian economy collapses on August 17th. This creates a huge domino effect. First, all of Europe falls victim to the new depression. Only hours later, America and Russia are plunged into the depression. China is also effectively hurt, but not as severely as the rest of the world. Eventually, every single country in the world falls into what is called the Dark Depression.
The Warring World and Dissolution[]
The European War starts[]
2016: After the collapse, hysteria kicks in across Europe. All countries from The Northern Alliance and The Southern-Eastern Powers blame each other for the problem, and even go as far as to use short-range missiles on each other. Thousands die on the same day as the collapse. This is what causes the declarations of war to fly. All of the Southern-Eastern Powers nations declare war on Northern Alliance nations. Much finger-pointing and invasions follow, dragging all of Europe into what is called the European War or the European Civil War. NATO, The European Union and The United Nations have most of their member pulled out as a result of the War. The remaining members of NATO and The United Nations all leave to focus on reinforcing what little power they have in their own countries, while NAFTA and The European Union utterly collapsed.
Dissolution and The Chinese Civil War[]
2017: China is plunged into a civil war, where the newly formed states of Manchuria and Tibet declare war on China, which is surrounded on either side by the enemy; Civil unrest occur in in America (in the civilian rebelion conflicts and the Secession of New York, California, and Texas) and in Russia (Through much rioting). This, topped with the depression, forces the governments to undergo the Respectful Dissolution of America and Russia. Many succesor states emerge in each former nation. In America, The Republic of New York, The Republic of Pennsylvania (Which also included what used to be New Jersey), The Michigan Republic, The Republic of Callifornia (Whic also included all of former Oregon), The Second Texan Republic, North Texas (Which split from the Texan Republic just weeks after its formation. This consisted of Oklahoma, the northern part of Texas and eastern New Mexico), The North American Federation (Which consisted mostely of what was Wisconsin and the northern peninsula of Michigan), The Floridian Diarchy (Which excluded the pan-handle), the Democratic Triumvirate of Maine (Which also included the eastern parts of New Hampshire and Massachusetts), The American Empire (Which, at its founding, consisted of all of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, along with parts of West Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and the panhandle of Florida) and Washington Americana, which still used the American Constitution and consisted of all of Washington D.C., which made it a true continuation of the U.S.A. In "Russia," Moscow, which was completely in Europe, was the predominate Russian Successor State. Other Major nations such as Oskkev, Tiberon, Krushnikov, and Slivios, emerged. The majority of South America, (Excluding one third of Brazil), Central America, Mexico, Africa (Excluding Libya), South-East Asia, central North America (Excluding the American successor states and the Canadian Provinces of Ontario and Quebec), India, Siberia, and the Middle East had the majority of their region's nations collapsed and the people became semi-nomadic.
2018: Brazil is reformed into an Empire and quickly recaptures its former territory; Moscow annexes the Baltic States with little opposition; German forces win the Battle of Prague in the Czech Republic, halting the S-E Powers invasion; Australia emerges as the most economically stable nation in the world, opening trade with New York, Maine, The American Empire, Britain and Moscow. Though it is still in a deep depression, it is still the most stable; The American Empire wages a two week war on the Floridian Diarchy, quickly taking it over. Many of the soldiers flee to Washington Americana in case they face a failing war with The American Empire.
2019: Tibet and and Manchuria break their alliance, but still agree not to attack each other; The American Empire expands itself to the Mississippi and Ohio rivers, but without bordering any other nation except Washington Americana; Libya remains the last standing Nation in Africa; Manchuria takes over North and South Korea; Japan refuses the Manchurians request for military support.
2020-2021: This time period is called "Bloody Earth" because of the huge death toll in Europe and China, along with the various Russian warring states and the nomadic people in Africa and The Middle East; The Oceanic Alliance is created by Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.
America combats itself[]
2022: The American Empire attempts to invade New York, Maine, and Pennsylvania. The Battle of the Republics begins, resulting in the almost complete take-over of Pennsylvania, but repelled invasions of New York City by the New York Militia lead by Commander John Evans and the Defeat of the Imperial Navy at the hands of the Maine National Maritime Defence, the only other navy in "America" besides the Imperial navy. 6 months later, the Empire is pushed out of Pennsilvania, with forces again lead by Commander Evans, but imperial forces begin to push into The Texan Nations, who form a strong alliance with each other; Austria turns over to the Northern Allies; Tibet invades Mongolia; China asks Japan for help, but it is refused.
2023: In early January, The Texan Allies are defeated and taken-over by the Empire and it expands its territory into the northern area of the Mexican area; New York, Main, Michigan, and Pennsylvania form the Republic Alliance to combat the Empire. This alliance creates a huge boost in the involved Nations' economies and unites them with common currency. Michigan then takes over the former territories of Ohio and Indiana, which is then divided amongst the Alliance; China, after a second plea for help is denied by Japan, Invades Japan. Saturo Masamichi rallies a group of rebels and the invasion is turned around. Japan then signs a treaty with Manchuria and declares war on China; Moscow allies itself with Oskkev, which borders Free Mongolia and Manchuria to the south.
2024: The Northern Allies push through to Madrid, Spain, where they are then stopped, but not turned around; Manchurian and Japanese forces capture Beijing, which was abandoned as the Chinese capital just three days earlier, and changed to Hong Kong; Tibet recreates an alliance with Manchuria and includes Japan; A peace negotiation is held in Las Vegas, just out side of California, between former Texan President William Juanitez, Californian President Mark Alton, American Emperor Dennis Reinsbeck, and Republic Alliance Prime Minister/New York President Richard Scodes, who is accompanied by Commander Evans in case of any turn of events. The meeting turns out to be a fraud and the Emperor is a double and there are imperial troops waiting to kill every leader except the Double. Commander Evans finds out the plan before the backup troops are able to carry out their duty and proceeds to shoot the Double dead, thinking it is the real Emperor. A small battle ensues with Californian secret service and Evans against the Imperial troops. President Janitez is shot dead and President Scodes is wounded, but Scodes, Alton and Evans escape alive. The invasion of California follows, pushing it to the shore, but not taking it over. California, a nation that participates in extreme isolationism, agrees to fight with the Alliance, but not join the Alliance itself; The North American Federation joins the Alliance for a boost in its economy and more protection.
2025: James Wellingtons, an extremely prominent British politician, is finally able to persuade Britain, Ireland, France, and Germany, but not any other country, to create the European Republic, a single country where the former Nations would become states. This is to strengthen the European bond and to provide a stronger, more united front against the S-E Powers. The new Nation then adopts Latin for military communication and common use. Wellingtons becomes President of the European Republic; Manchurian and Japanese forces lead the now Lt. Col. Masamichi repel the Oskkevian invasion of Manchuria; Tibet is pushed back to half its original size by Chinese forces and Mongolian freedom fighters; A line of defence is created by the Republic Alliance up by where Montana used to be to take pressure off of California and to prevent Imperial expansion into the Canadian nomadic peoples. Eventually, it goes into disarray and is called "The Net" because people said "once you go in, you are never coming out." It is a complete free for all on either side. Also, Alliance forces fight their way to Washington Americana in a thin strip from Philadelphia to W.A. Washington Americana joins the Alliance.
2026: The six nations of the Republic Alliance sign a treaty and create The Second American Republic, and also becomes known by the former names of The United States, The U.S., U.S.A, and most commonly America, and also becomes known as SAR, the S.A.R., and the Second Republic. New York City becomes the provisional capital until the end of the war, where W.A. will then become the capital with former Alliance Leader Richard Scodes becoming provisional President until the war ended, and The Second American Republic adopts the American constitution, which survived through Washington Americana. American Forces led by Commander Evans fight a bloody battle and capture the Imperial Capital of America City, a city that was created in the middle of where Tennessee used to be. Commander Evans was also able to kill Emperor Reinsbeck at point-blank range. The Supreme Imperial General Rick Gradson then declares himself Emperor on April 5th, the day Emperor Reinsbeck was K.I.A. Many of the Imperial states, 7 of the 15 in fact, are admitted into America and are given their former borders, as Americans embrace the idea of the preservation of the Union. Washington Americana now becomes the agreed capital of America. Imperial states by Mexico, Texas, Alabama, and Florida, along with Imperial California and the territory added through The Net still wage the war against the Second Republic; Jaharo is founded near the abandoned city of Mexico City and is the first nation to spring up in "Mexico"; Tibet is defeated; The Brazilian Empire now controls all of South America except for the Columbian Rebellion; Spain and Portugal are completely defeated by the Northern Alliance. European Republic forces move in and defeat Moscow forces at the simultaneous Battles of Warsaw, Belgrade, and Budapest, which become collectively known as The Capital Battles, marking the end of the S-E offensive and turning the war In the Northern Alliance favor; Australia and New Zealand hear about the capture of America City and join the war on America's side. They send the Oceanic Army to California and help push the Imperial Forces back.
2027: Manchuria, China, and Japan sign a peace treaty, marking the end of the end of the Chinese civil war; Commander Evans is sent to The Net to try and bring order; The Northern Alliance liberates the Baltic States and invade Moscow; Moscow and Oskkev start to ally with other Russian states.
2028: The City of Moscow is captured and the Eastern front of European War is ended. One month later, the last troops in Italy are defeated, marking the complete end of the European War; Commander Evans defeats Imperial Forces at The Net and Emperor Gradson is killed, causing the Imperial Army to surrender. General Archable Leston is proclaimed Emperor. Evans is promoted to the rank of general. The areas of former Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, the coast of Texas, Cuba, Haiti, The Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, and a part of the norther border of former Mexico are all that officially remains of the American Empire. Rebellious Imperial States at former New Mexico, Arizona and Utah still engage American forces in small skirmishes, but no further war erupts. The first official S.A.R. presidential race begins and Provisional President Richard Scodes won the official presidency by a land slide, and again for a second term in 2032. With the end of all major wars, the world experiences Minor World Order, where trade opens up everywhere and Economies start to heal, but there is still much conflict and nomadic people are everywhere. Economic conditions are also not very good and global unemployment averages 50%; The world population is down to 3.3 billion people still living by the end of all of these wars.
Temporary peace[]
2029-2033: America faces small border conflicts. Major conflicts end around 2031, but the rebellious states still refuse to be admitted into the union, though they are legally states of America; The world's nations focus on healing their economies and healing war wounds; The European Republic emerges as the World's lone Superpower, while Australia, The American Empire, and The Second American Republic emerge as Great Powers; The Russian states begin to morph together and unite.
2034: The Russian Republic is formed by all of the Successor states and retains all of its former territory.
2035: Belgum, Luxembourg Spain, Portugal, and Italy join as states in the European Republic; Tensions rise between the Russian-Manchurian border. Skirmishes ensue; Jaharo takes control of the nomadic people and various tribes to the north and borders America; Baja California is recognized as an independent nation by Jaharo, America, and Canada; the North American Alliance of Peace (NAAP) is created to ensure peace is recognized throughout North America. The signers included America, The Empire, Canada, Jaharo, and Baja California.
2036: John Evans becomes President of the United States. Evans then finally puts an end to the "Rebellious States" by sending in diplomats representing NAAP backed by the NAAP International Guard. The Rebellious States' respective heads of state took notice of the improbability of a successful war and agreed to recognize state-hood. America's territory now encompassed 40 of its original continental states and now extends half way into the former provinces of Canada west of Ontario and down into former Mexico stopping at Monterrey; Canada gained control of Alaska with the consent of America and has acquired the territory that used to be Greenland; Jaharo extends from Monterrey down through former Guatemala; The Russian Republic annexed the nomadic areas of Georgia, the Baltic States (Supposedly to ensure economic stability), the far northern region of Kazakhstan, mostly near the Russian Border, and the poorer eastern Ukraine all with the consent of the European Republic and newely formed Kazakhstan Federation.
2037: The Brazilian Empire faces an Uprising throughout the Empire and its control starts to waver; Poland and the Ukraine Declare war on the European Republic, stating that they have "Become an Empire" and "Think that they have control over the world itself." Without any support, The European Republic triumphs within two weeks, hence the name of The Two Weeks War; Libya tries to expand it's territory to the southern half of Africa, yet NAAP, E.R. (European Republic) and Russian Colonies are already in place.
Tensions begin to rise[]
2038: Under President Evans, America is the first country to hit unemployment under 40%; China and Manchuria soon find themselves in a tense stand off over who has control of the former eastern Mongolian territory.
2039: Skirmishes occur in the disputed Mongolian territory between China and Manchuria; Evans states that he doesn't want to run for re-election so he can focus on his military career and continue to be a general; NAAP tries to think of ways to strengthen The Net, which has remained a very poor place in North America.
2040: Libya encounters the NAAP and E.R. colonies in mid-Africa and almost immediately takes military action. Eventually, the nations of NAAP, the E.R., and Russia find themselves in constant skirmishes with Libya and each other, which severely severs international relations; Russia claims that all of Mongolia belongs to them and joins the stand off with China and Mongolia. The Five Week War begins and ends with the Russians taking Mongolia under their control and makes Manchuria a satellite state.
2041: General Evans, Russian President Vladimir Putin II and James Wellingtons, now the Parliamentary leader of the E.R. Parliament, along with General Masamichi, meet to try to mend the relations with each others respective nations, which does little to help.
2042: The Minor Collapse occurs. The European Republic's economy takes a hit and, being the world Superpower, it affects everyone, but not nearly as much as the Greek collapse did. Global unemployment is back at a 50% average once again.
The lead up to World War[]
2043-2047: The World Economy is stagnant. Nations are hard pressed to open up increased trade and riots are prevalent everywhere. It was during this time that Argentina was able to gain temporary freedom from the Brazilian Empire from 2043-2045. The Empire quickly recaptured Argentina and secret torture was used on all major figures and many soldiers of the uprising; NAAP threatens some sort of action if the Brazilian Empire extends its influence into North America; The Russian Republic creates increasing tensions between China and the E.R. because of small, but noticeable take-overs of near-by countries, slowly annexing pieces of Belarus, Ukraine, Azers, and half of the severely weakened Kazakhstan.
2048: Libya is attacked by a rogue army of colonists that results in Libyan war threats to Russia, NAAP, and The E.R.; The Second South African Confederation is able to form "in the ashes of the old South Africa," which creates a rival for Libya. The SSAC possesses area including former South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland and Southern sections of former Botswana and Namibia; The Russian Republic is finally recognized as a Great Power; General Evans decides to run for president again and wins the nomination. Under him, he asserts America in the top five most economically stable countries in the world, With The E.R., Australia, and The Russian Republic ahead of it and New Zealand behind it.
2049: Estimates of the time suggested that the human population was expected to re-reach four billion by 2050; The SSAC and Libya engage in an undeclared war by mid-continental territories, which becomes known as the African War of Succession. In the end there was a stalemate and the two nations pull troops out of the battle field and the African power struggle continues; General Masamichi becomes very wary of the rapid expansion of Russia and tells the Japanese public over TV, along with visits to America and the European Republic in his famous 自由を維持する, or "Preserve the Freedom" speeches. NAAP and The E.R. take note of the warnings and begin to strengthen, but not mobilize, their militaries in case they have to act; Poland and the Ukraine, still angered over their defeat in the European War and the Two Weeks War, create the Eastern Coalition, which consisted of Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Turkey, to oppose the European Republic. Russia is asked to join as the Head of the alliance, but harshly refuses; The Eastern Coalition attempts to set up a shared colony in the Horn of Africa, but don't get further than setting up one town and a few surrounding forts; Russia experiences huge military spending and President Vladimir Putin III states that, "Like in the times of the First America, we have the biggest military in the world and we would like to act as the next World Police." this alarmed many in the E.R. and the Coalition. China, Japan, Free Kazakhstan, and the Nations of NAAP hastily sign a non-aggression treaty in Juneau, Canada called "The Treaty of Juneau."
World War III: The War of Darkness[]
2050 January to August: In February, citizens in Russian-held Kazakhstan participate in a failed Coup to overthrow the Russian regime. Russian forces use this as an excuse to invade Free Kazakhstan for "The protection and well being of the Republic." E.R. President William Brunson, along with the E.R. Parliament is very alarmed and, after signing a protection treaty with the remaining territory of Free Kazakhstan, give The Russian Republic an Ultimatum: "If The Republic of Russia attempts to completely take over Kazakhstan or continue its destructive expansion, war will follow." The Russian Republic then says that it shall create world peace under the Russian flag and annexes the rest of Kazakhstan. On February 15th, The European Republic declares war on Russia. China joins the war on the side of the E.R. and declares war on Russia the next day because of the high probability of being invaded and the break of the Treaty of Juneau; The nations of NAAP soon declare their neutrality and sign a new non-aggression pact in California on the Sacramento Pact. On February 20th, The nations of the Eastern Coalition (because of E.R. resentment) and Libya (Because of colonial interference with Libyan expansion) join Russia and fighting erupts in Africa, The Coalition border, and the Chinese border. The Russians quickly push the Chinese troops down to the yellow river, while the Coalition-Libyan forces fight the three week long Battle of Yugoslavia, defeating the E.R. forces and begin to push through into Western Europe. Putin III, feeling confident in his victories in China, orders on March 17th a force of 500,000 invade Canada trough Alaska and America through the coast of California. Due to miscommunication and NAAP naval reconosens, the Russian Naval fleet arrives at California too late. The Americans, well aware of the Invasion of Canada just hours earlier, are well prepared and fight off the fleet. Russia still had 300,000 troops marching in through Canada. By now, all of the nations in NAAP, except for The American Empire, declare war on Russia and join the Allies, which consisted only of the E.R. until that time. but by August 2nd, The Russian Army pushed through the NAAP defensive line and set foot in America through The Net.
2050 September to December: Libya engages E.R. colonial forces in Timbuktu and push back the colonists to the Niger river; American forces are frantically mobilizing and trying to halt the Russian Advance; Canadian forces engage the Russian Invasion force at the Battle of Thompson, but are utterly defeated; After having one of their carriers sunken by the Russian Naval Fleet, Japan "finally" joins the Allies; President Evans speaks at a closed press conference on October 30th and states, "This Third World War will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. If Humankind hasn't learned a damn thing from what has happened in the past forty years, then I think we will never learn. This War will completely destroy us...at least what is left of us..." This is the first reference of the war being called WWIII. After this speech, the entire world refers to the war as World War Three. He also stated that when his term is up, he will return to the rank of General in the American Army.
2051: President Evans personally orders "Immediate action at The Net." He orders a front line of joint NAAP forces in Wyoming to oppose the Russian Offencive. This, although not reversing the invasion, brings the Russian advance to a stand still and the series of battles that are fought in Wyoming, Oregon, and Idaho are called "The Battle of The Net;" The Russians pass the border into Ontario and are met with huge resistance; The Japanese Navy launches a Naval attack on the Korean Peninsula, hoping to free the Korean people and inspiring the Manchurians to rebel against the Russians. Eventually, The Japanese capture a major base in southern Korea and the Manchurians rise up against the Russians in their homeland. The Manchurians are able to push the last troops out in two months and declare war on the Coalition Powers (Russia, Libya, and the Eastern Coalition nations); The Coalition lands a devastating blow to the Allied Army in Albania, giving the Coalition coastal territory next to the Italian state of The E.R., which was perfect for an invasion of the E.R. homeland; Libya captures the NAAP colony of Talignia, which was where former Mali, Mauritania, Western Sahara, and Morocco were located. The Libyan forces still face a lot of resistance by the coastline; Indonesia, which was secretly re-colonized by Russian Colonists in 2036, attack the now Australian territory of Papa New Guinea. Australia declares war on Russia; In late November, a joint Allied Marine Black Ops., or AMBO force, (created in 2050) attempt to assassinate Vladimir Putin III while he was traveling to South Africa for a negotiation. The force injured him, but failed to eliminate him. They then faced the Russian Secret Service and fought a short zero casualty battle.
2052: Alex Wincher becomes President of the United States, while President Evans retains his role as a General. Later, the leaders of NAAP promote Evans to "Supreme General of the North American Army," and headed all military activities in North America; At the same time, General Masamichi is made "Supreme General of the Asian Army," heading all Chinese, Manchurian, and Japanese movements; Head Parlamist James Wellingtons is given control of military planning in Europe; Evans, Wellingtons, and Masamichi are dubbed "The Angles from the Darkness" and continue to work closely together; President Putin III again travels to South Africa, albet much more covertly, in May to discuss an alliance with South Africa. In the negotiation, he states, "Russia shall rule Asia and North America, The Eastern Coalition to Europe, and Libya to Africa. We don't wish to hurt a potential ally. If you join us and help destroy all enemy colonies, we shall ensure the peace and unity of Africa and a new world order." The South African President Abachi Abudari kindly accepted the offer and joind the Coalition Powers. All NAAP and E.R. African colonies were now completely surrounded. The Pacific Allied Navy are confronted by the Russian Navy in The Battle of Micronesia, who are then turned back. This is the start of a long string of many pacific battles; Berlin falls to Coalition Forces, who now have control of the German State; Three weeks after the fall of Berlin, in August, the first NAAP troops arive in Europe; Russian troops are able to capture the northern island of Japan; Turkish forces independent form the Coalition army take control of Greece in the name of the Coalition Powers; NAAP forces begin to push back the Russian Invasion, which has strengthened to almost 800,000 through reinforcements at The Net; At the same time, the NAAP troops in Canada are able to win one decisive battle at Timmins which, if was lost, would have been devistateing to NAAP, possibly even the eventual surrender of NAAP; Emperor Letson, becoming increasingly concerned with the expansion of the Brazilian Empire, travels to Rio De Braziliana, the Current capital of the Brazilian Empire, and negotiates a treaty of peace on the behalf of NAAP, where they agreed not to expand into North America in exchange for exclusive trade of special items; In mid July, NAAP and E.R. forces arrive in Africa to aid the colonial militias. In August, just as the E.R. feared, the Coalition invades Italy through their Albanian territory, sailing 200,000 men to the shores, bit the entire southern half of Italy is heavily reinforced with troops and heavy bunkers. Coalition forces take heavy casualties, but still push forward; With the help of the fresh supply of soldiers, the colonial militia of Talignia begin to push back the Libyan troops; South Africa takes over The E.R. colony of Enstaga. Libya now has control of roughly 50% of Africa.
2053: In early February, the Coalition Army Italian invasion force reaches Rome, but with a meager 50,000 troops. The remaining troop are cought in the Battle of Rome, which lasted for three weeks. By the end of the battle, the Allied forces beat back the invasion forces and take over 10,000 POW's. Many retreated, but were slaughtered by the bunkers that they faced on their way up to Rome. with 40,000 dead, the remaining troops are forced to surrender. This marks the deadliest battle of the war to that date, with a death total of roughly 215,000, due to the massive airstrikes on the invasion force and the huge amounts of Allied resistance up to and at Rome; The Allied Navy wins a decisive blow to the Russian Fleet at the Battle of the Philippines, sinking three carriers, 32 battleships, and two destroyers giving the Allies a huge advantage in the Pacific; The Russian Army is pushed out of America, but is still very prominent in Canada. General Evans suggests using the virtual pacific dominance to their advantage by sailing troops from Jaharo and California to Alaska and Canada and surround the invasion force. The Alaskan forces would cut of the supply of reinforcements, while the Canadian forces would beat down the present invasion force. Three months later, in April, 300,000 troops are sent to Alaska and 200,000 to Canada through the seas. Because of the numerous mountains and cold temperature, the Russians have no clue as to what will happen, nor will they be able to react. The plan was met with extreme success, as the NAAP forces in Ontario have a huge release of stress and the Russian Army is beginning to not only be pushed back north, but also to the east, where they are planned to be closed in; The Australian Navy launches a surprise attack on the South African main land and takes control of the island of Madagascar. This is extremely crucial in the entire war because if The Allies hadn't taken that risk, all of Africa would have been lost, due to no outside distractions, and would be able to send their troops everywhere and anywhere the Coalition Powers needed. South Africa, becoming preoccupied with Australia, looses its grip on the newly conquered colonies and its territory begins to shrink; Russian forces push very deep into western China and are heading for Hong Kong; The E.R.-Allied Army, in a last ditch attempt to delay the Coalition advance, set up an offencive line of 500,000 men to invade and retake Germany in large-scale guerrilla warfare. The Allied Army cuts through the Coalition force and breaks it in half. Then, in an unexepected turn of events, the Coalition army to the west is surrounded by the Guerrilla offencive and the Italian defenders and breaks up into many disorganized factions, which leads to its surrender in late October. At the same time, Berlin is recaptured by the Guerrilla forces and the entire Allied army meets up in mid-Germany to plan out their new offencive. with the re-capture of Berlin, the Attack on South Africa, and the counter invasion in North America, The tide begins to turn against the Coalition Powers.
2054 January to June: Indorussia (Russian-held Indonesia) is Attacked by Australia in the south and by the Allied navy in the north on January 13th, where it is reduced to middle island; Libya continues to beat down the Colonial militias, causing their attack on South Africa to slow; Russian "Extremists," as they were called by President Putin III, inspire an uprising the Oskkev state. After they take the state capital, Noviansk, they begin the movement of Chinese-Japanese forces; The North American Russian Invasion force surrenders to NAAP forces. General Evans, seeing the chaos in Russia, immediately begins plans, along side General Masamichi and Australian Admiral Jack Stevenson, to invade the Russian mainland; By this time, all African coastal land parallel to Madagascar is under Allied naval control (Former Mozambique); Libyan forces are stopped by the Colonial Allied Militia at The Battle of Congo River. The colonial Allied territory now contains just slightly less than the former nation of The Dem. Rep. of the Congo; European Allied Forces capture Warsaw on June 3rd, the more powerful of the two joint capitals. This causes the Surrender of the Polish Coalition division to surrender and the virtual break-up of the Coalition. The majority of the nations still officially in the Coalition surround the other capital, Bucharest, Romania. The only nations still officially members of the E.C. are Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Moldovia, the Ukraine, and the Greek rump state Athenius, which consisted of the peninsula of former Greece. With the most powerful nation under allied control, and the Ukraine in disarray between Rebellious forces and the Eastern Russian Government, the Eastern Coalition had become much weaker and were starting a completely defencive war to "Halt, or at the very least, delay, the Allied invasion of Russia" said the new E.C. Prime Minister Tiberius Molesko.
2054 July to December: On July 2nd, The Allied Navy neutralized the final resistants in Indorussia and are able to focus on Russia and Africa; The Australian Naval Division launches a massive invasion of South African mainland on September 17th in what was nicknamed "Second D-Day," but was much more swift and only took a month to reach the Capital. After the fall of Rodtinsia, many of the conquered lands of South Africa rebel against the remaining forces; The Allies launch an invasion from Italy to Albania in The Second Battle of Albania. They then proceed to "North Greece," which still had much resistance. While there, James Wellingtons planned to take back Athenius, which inspired a Greek uprising against their Coalition Rulers. The Coalition was becoming severely weakened by internal and external conflicts; In December, the first Russian invasion "practices" began; Kazak Rebels wage a guerrilla war on the Russians, marking the third act of rebellion against the Coalition Powers; President Putin III states "The Coalition was weak to begin with. The only real ally I ever had in this war was President Sumbia Rongalia from Libya. They are the ones who can keep a rebellion down and still hold up a successful war." Even when the Coalition heard news of this, they still insist on fighting along side the Russians because "The Coalition will never turn away from their allies and certainly won't help the E.R. Menace."
Operation Dark Freedom[]
2055: On March 6th, The Allied Army of North America, Asia, The Pacific Allied Naval Fleet, The Allied African Naval Fleet, The European Allied Army, and Allied Colonial troops launched "Operation Dark Freedom," a collection of three smaller operations preformed at the same time. They simultaneously launch the single largest collective invasion in history. In "Operation Harpoon," The Allied Army of America, Asia, and The Allied Pacific Naval Fleet had 250,000 troops invade from Alaska, 200,000 from Manchuria, Japan, and China, and 150,000 men from the Naval Fleet stormed the Russian shore. The Russians only really prepared to counter an invasion from Alaska, but were overwhelmed by the immense movement of Allied troops. 3000 Allied troops died in the Alaskan faction, 1700 from the Naval Invasion, and roughly 2100 from the Asian invasion; In "Operation East Orthodox," European Allied troops launched a naval invasion of 75,000 men into Turkey and a land Invasion of 100,000 into Romania. The final sub-operation was "Operation Cold Night," which was sub-divided into the Australian Naval operation "Operation Sand Shark," and The Colonial Army operation "Operation Cobra Recoil." In "Sand Shark," 150,000 men stormed the shores of southern South Africa and The Horn of Africa, while in Cobra Recoil, A force of 150,000, Divided into two armies of 75,000, Invaded South Africa and Libya. Every invasion started precisely at 7:00 EST, causing mass confusion and wide spread disarray among the Coalition Powers. By April 14th, Bucharest fell and the Eastern Coalition surrendered to the European Allied Army and, by May, had entered the Russian homeland. On April 22nd, South Africa fell and all forces were able to focus on Libya. By May 4th, Libya had fallen to the Allies. on July 10th, The Battle of Russia, a three week long battle to push back the Russian Forces in their mainland, began. On August 2nd, Moscow fell to the Allies and WWIII was over.
2055 Post WWIII: It was estimated that one billion people died in the most gruesome war in history. 500,000 troops died in The Battle of Russia alone. Vladimir Putin III had committed suicide when the Allies closed in on Moscow. When his son, Vladimir IV, Claimed the "Presidency," he was chased out of the Putin Manner by Russian citizens and brutally beaten to near death. the World Population of the entire world was now at 3.1 billion. The world economy was at 2017 levels and unemployment soared at a global average of 60%. Everyone immediately tried to rebuild their fractured countries and entered "Global Isolationism," with extremely rare trade with the outside of their own countries. General Evans, General Masamichi, Parlamist Welingtons, and Admiral Stevenson are proclaimed the "Angles from the Darkness." The world is in the worst shape in history, yet it is considered the most peaceful of the Days of Global Darkness.
Power change and more Temporary Peace[]
2056: Because of the vast amount areas that were fought in, the majority of the world was left destroyed. The only places that were relatively untouched were Jaharo, Baja California, Southern and Eastern Parts of America, and eastern Canada. The Middle east, although relatively undisturbed, was still in complete disorder. The two countries that weren't involved in the war, The American Empire and The Brazilian Empire, remained the most economically stable, wealthiest, and most powerful nations in the world, rivaling the E.R. Superpower, which was now in decline of its global status. The world was in a new "Age of Imperialism;" The Allies absorb and govern all African nations and colonies; NAAP, Japan, China, and Manchuria split Russia into "Spheres of Governance" to help control and rebuild the shattered nation, while the E.R. gains a 20 year governing period over the former nations of the Eastern Coalition for the same purpose; The small country of Persianistan, which meant "Land of the Persians," is formed in the Middle East. The country only encompasses a small area at the northern coast of the Persian Gulf. It is the first nation to be solidified in the Middle East, but it has much trouble trying to establish itself as a power in the region and has many armed conflicts with neighboring tribal-states; General Evans becomes the Secretary of Defence for the United States and remains in this position for an extended period of time; Head Parlamist Wellingtons steps down as Head Parlamist, but remains an active member in the E.R. Parliament.
2057: Australia annexes Indorussia and Madagascar to "strengthen the economic, political, and physical structures of the regions;" NAAP began plans to officially divide and incorporate select colonial territories in Africa; The E.R. also decides to incorporate its colonial territory and begins plans; Jaharo claims the nomadic area south of its border to the South American border, but has constant trouble trying to organize the area; Both The Brazilian Empire and SAR claim rights to the archipelago of Hawaii and began to send colonists and diplomats to the main Island of Hawaii. The Brazilian Imperial diplomats arrived first on June 1st, but were greeted harshly be the natives. The Americans arrived on June 4th and hostilities between the three parties began. On July 2nd, an Oceanic Alliance diplomat arrives on the Hawaiian main island and claims the archipelago for Australia. Many people from the Foreign nations start to expect a new global war to begin over this. John Janus, the American, contacts President Simon and they decide to let the territory go for fear of another devastating war. Australia and The Brazilian Empire then deploy small units of troops and a long standoff between the three remaining parties; The former territories of Kazakhstan and Mongolia are given independence from the Russian Republic, albeit under pressure from the Governing countries.
2058: The Hawaiian Natives, desperate for peace, strike a deal with the much more forgiving Australians and sign on as a member of the Oceanic Alliance and eventually surround the enemy troops. Without a single shot fired and no man dead, The "Imperials," as they were called, called it quits on trying to annex Hawaii and leave for home. Eventually, Hawaii becomes integrates as an incorporated territory of Australia; Rising civil unrest throughout the American Empire causes a lobbiest party, called the Reinsbeck Party, named after Emperor Reinsback, to rise to significant and begin to take legal control of some Imperial States as governors. These people believe in "Reinsbeckian Imperialism," which is the belief of recreating America through Imperialism, just like Emperor Reinsbeck, and his first two successors, attempted to do; The New Zealand economy begins to faulter greatly and agrees to become an incorporated territory of Australia. This causes Papua, New Guinea to drop out of the Oceanic Alliance and label Australia as "The Oceanic Empire." Australian diplomats try to convince President Westings and the Australian Congress to annex Papu aNew Guinea, but refuse to do so so they can focus on economic expansion, rather than further territorial expansion.
2059: Rebels within the Brazilian Empire attempt a Coup, but fail due to lack of support and poor planning. This does, however, inspire a new era of uprisings, and causes the Imperial Government to focus too much on military spending and causes a decline in power. This causes the world economy to take another minor hit. As a result of the Brazilian decline, The American Empire remains the lone world Superpower. Emperor Leston then proclaims to the Imperial public, "The American Empire is now the World Superpower. Just like the First America, we are the top dog. We are the true successors to the American Heritage!"; The western region of Africa under the Sahara, stretching from former Senegal to former Congo, is officially incorporated into the S.A.R. territory and is split into four states: Guinea, Ghana, Nigeria, and Congo. This region contains all of former Senegal, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Cote D'ivore, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Congo, along with the southern part of former Mali, and western parts of the former Centeral African Republic and The Democratic Republic of the Congo. America then announces that is has "No more plans for further expansion."; The E.R. incorporates its colonial possessions, which contains all of former Morocco, Tunisia, and the northern half of former Algeria; Libya is given independence and has land encompassing the Libyan mainland, the northern parts of former Chad and Niger, the western half of former Egypt, and the north-western part of former Sudan; After much negotiation, Japan is granted official control of the Korean Peninsula and all Russian territory from the Khabasovsk River to the Pacific Ocean. This is for the reparations the Japanese "deserve" after the multiple attempted Russian invasions of Japan and the fact that the Koreans felt that the Japanese government was more stable than the Manchurian Government and their own.
The New American Empire Order[]
2060: Reinsbeckian Imperialists form "The Army of the American Heritage" and begin a series of rebellious acts to try to overthrow Emperor Leston. They believe that Leston is, "To soft on the military and conquest and unfit to be the continuation of Emperor Reinsbeck." for seven months, joint Imperial-SAR forces fight the A.H. Army to prevent a Coup and to restore order. At the end of the seven month long battle, the A.H. forces reach New Imperial City and fight the Allied army. The A.H. forces claim victory, Emperor Leston is apprehended and killed, and Reinsbeckian Imperialist leader, Governor Wess Niegton is Crowned Emperor and claims the title of "Emperor Reinsbeck II." After this, the Empire withdrawals from NAAP and experiences limited isolation. Secretary Evans made a statement on the matter, stating, "The Empire of America has no clear successor to whoever claims to be in charge, so this wasn't unexpected. All I can say is that I wish for no confrontation with the Empire under Emperor Reinsbeck II;" the countries of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark create "The Scandinavian Union" because of all of the Unions forming all over the world and to create a strengthened economy. These countries plan to eventually morph into one unified country, with the union being, "A step in the right direction;" Parlamist Wellingtons makes his Meandering Speech, explaining how there could be ways to pull the world out o the Dark Depression. He also touches upon all of the countries becoming unified, stating, "I have noticed that many countries around the world are morphing or uniting under Unions. Most notable of these are NAAP, The European Union, Australia, Japan, The Brazilian Empire to an extent, and now the Scandinavian Union, all of which have experienced economic boosts in their members economies. It is the nations that are not unified that ae dragging the rest of the world down. Countries such as Libya, Russia, China, and Manchuria, to name the major ones, al have unemployment levels at 65-70% and huge amounts of inflation. We must unite if we are to bring our strengthen the global economy, back to the levels it was at before The Days of Global Darkness." This marks the first known use of the term; Brazil and Jaharo experience small skirmishes at the continental border.
2061: The International WWIII memorial is opened in London, E.R. along with other national memorials in W.A., America, Tokyo, Japan, and Moscow, Russia; The American Empire begins to increase its military activity and spending while increasing its size; South Africa is granted freedom and retains all of its former territory; Australian diplomats begin to attempt to convince Papua New Guinea to become incorporated into Australia; Persanistan is visited by E.R.-NAAP joint diplomats to try and strike a deal for a stabilization of the nation. Nothing ever goes through; A small group of people sett up a small government in the ruins of Cairo and call themselves citizens of New Egypt, but no one recognizes them as an official government.
2062: Tensions rise between America and The Empire over political and militaristic actions by Imperial forces; THe Brazilian Empire and Jaharo come to an agreement over the border skirmishes: The Empire of Brazil shall cease military activity on the Jaharan border in exchange for help in subduing any uprising near the continental border. Uprisings are still a very prevalent thing in the Empire; WWIII Allies see improvement on the Russian government and start to loosen their hold on it, but still govern it; America sets up new colonies in former Western Sahara, Mali, and Mauritania; Canada sets up colonies in what was formerly Namibia in Africa; The global unemployment average hits 45%; American President Franklin Gibson flies to the American Empire to try and negotiate a non-militaristic agreement with Emperor Reinsbeck II, since the Empire has been using harsh military rule throughout its territory and using continual violence in its Island territory as a scare tactic. The meeting was bitter and within five hours, President Gibson returned to W.A., wary of the Empire's next move; retired General Masamichi is nearly killed in an assassination attempt by Russian extremists, still angered by "the loss of the true identity of Mother Russia to the so-called 'Allies.'"
2063: Car bombings in the capitals of American Jaharan and states around the Imperial border causes much uproar and finger-pointing at the Empire, but Emperor Reinsbeck II spoke out and said, "Yes, these car bombings can be traced back to the Empire of America. No, we did not order the execution of these acts. We, along with NAAP International Guard, have apprehended a few of the participants. These people all say that they are Imperial Extreme-Nationalists. We assure you, we are allies to NAAP. More and more violent events occur across the Imperial border and causes huge tension and distrust amongst the Empire and NAAP; Australia sets up colonies on the African coasts directly parallel to Madagascar. China sends diplomats to the Philippine Islands to set up order and claim the islands as a Chinese territory, which is met with bitterness from the natives of the islands.
The Second American Imperial War[]
2064: On June 2nd, after months of planning, The American Imperial Army invades Texas and Oklahoma, while the Imperial Navy invades Florida. Emperor Reinsbeck II proclaims, "As Leston sat back and let the S.A.R. claim the American heritage, the citizens of the Empire submitted to the Evil America. Like Emperor Reinsbeck the Great, I shall recreate America in its former glory! No more poverty! No more oppression! No more darkness! We shall reign supreme over the world and usher in a new era of peace and prosperity, like the presidents of First America!" With the army extremely small, American Forces could do little to stop the Imperial army. It was not until Jaharo was invaded by land and sea the next day that the armies could combat each other. On June 2nd, The S.A.R. declared war on the Empire, and Jaharo declared war on the Empire the next day. Canada and Baja California, being the only NAAP members at peace, tried to negotiate peace, but were never dragged into the war. The Second American Imperial War had begun. This war was different from the first one, though. The Empire never lost many people during WWIII since they didn't participate in it, but the American and Jaharan populations were severly shrunken due to the war. Because of this, Secretary Evans proposed the "Silent War," in which Allied forces would engage in guerrilla warfare to try to minimalize Allied casualties, but inflict maximum on Imperial Forces. The rest of the world was in shock and didn't do a thing. Head Parlamist Alan Gregsun spoke in the E.R. assembly stating, "We can not deny the threat that the Empire poses on NAAP, but we cannot help them, for our numbers are as low as their own." One month later, Imperial forces had control of the American-Jaharan border and the Isthmus of Panama. Jaharo was now completely surrounded. The American Army, although had small ground forces, had held up their navy to enormous proportions, mainly to observe Russia. Because of this, the Allied Navy could hold its own against the Imperial Navy, if not outmatch it. The S.A.R. Navy at Russia secretly started a journey around Cape Horn, under South America, to spring a surprise attack in the Gulf of Mexico. But as they cornered the Cape in August, a blockade was set up by a rogue fleet, with an unknown insignia. This delayed the Naval arrival time greatly. On September 15th, the Imperial Army had reached Jaharo Mexicano, the Jaharan capital. At that time, the entire Jaharan Army ceased their guerrilla warfare and, knowing that defeat was inevitable, fought to the death to take down as many Imperial troops as possible. This inflicted huge amounts of casualties on both sides. At the same time, Allied forces lead by The Jaharan Guerrilla Ops Task Force (J-GOT Forces), which was the most elite unit of soldiers in all of North America, hijacked an Imperial Carrier, four submarines, and ten Battle ships and formed the Allied Elite Navy. The AEN combated the Imperial Navy at The Battle of Cuba and were able to land a decisive blow to the Empire and began to invade Havana, and Imperial stronghold. By September 29th, Jaharo Mexicano had fallen.
2065: On New Years Day, Jaharan President Pedro Juaniharo set op the Jaharan Government in Exile in W.A., America, while many guerrilla units throughout Jaharo fought Imperial forces as the "Jaharan Resistance Army." The Imperial Army is fought at Charlotte, North Carolina. This marks the first major land victory for the American Army and a halt in the Imperial Offensive; Imperial Forces invade Baja California and starts to move troops to California, America. The invasion force is met by American guerrilla units, who inflict heavy damage on the force, but don't stop the invasion. Then, unexpectedly, Canadian troops arrive to aid the American Army, which effectively draws them into the war. Canadian Prime Minister Jacque Franculer announces, "If nothing else, we should help out our brothers to the south. When they are in pain, we are not far behind."; The American Navy at Cape Horn splits into two factions, one to continue the standoff with the rogue fleet and the other to come up the western coast of South America to launch a surprise attack at Imperial Jaharo; The final Imperial resistance in Cuba is defeated; Allied forces defeat the Imperial invasion force at the Battle of Los Angeles; Allied forces are defeated at the Battle of Memphis and again at Nashville; On September 7th, the AEN launch an attack on major imperial bases on the coast throughout the Gulf of Mexico, crippling some communication arrays; The Allied Air force begins carpet bombings on major inland Imperial bases, but some are stopped by anti-aircraft missiles. This makes Emperor Reinsbeck II realise that he needs to increase the size of the Imperial Air force, which was neglected over the years; By early December, The American Navy reaches Imperial Jaharo and begin massive short-range missile attacks of major army bases and begin to plan an invasion of the Isthmus of Panama, since the Navy has substantial numbers to do so; Citizens in the Philippines launch a rebellion against their Chinese rulers; Papua New Guinea is finaly legally annexed by Australia.
2067: Allied forces crush Imperial forces at the Battle of St. Louis. The Allies begin an offensive to invade the Imperial mainland; The navy at Cape Horn launch a midnight assault on the rogue unit and manage to apprehend multiple battleships, submarines and a carrier. They now begin their move up the eastern South American coast. The Empire invades Cuba and retakes Havana, but the Allied forces continually combat the Imperial forces; The Allies are able to push back the Imperial invasion force to Baja California; The Allied Army, lead by Xavier Evans and Richard Evans, John Evans' son and nephew respectively, enjoys a string of successful victories against the Empire, leading up to the Battle of New Imperial City on May 10th. The Allied Army crushes the Imperial Army and Emperor Reinsbeck II is killed in a rain of gunfire when Allied Units stormed the Imperial Palace. After this, the Imperial Army in America is completely disorganized and fights a guerrilla war. Reinsbeck II's nephew Brian Neigton, Imperial High General Aaron McDiligan, and Imperial Army Supreme General David Esten all claim the throne and, after much arguing and threatening, the three Emperors split the Empire at the Jaharan-American Border (North and South Empire) and from Baja California to Mid-Jaharo (Western Empire) Eventually, the Allied Army engages Emperor Neigton at the Battle of Dallas on May 30th, where the North Imperial Army surrenders and the Northern American Empire crumbles. Emperor Neigton is shot and killed by a sniper while he lead a small unit of men to attempt to escape into exile; The American Navy reaches the Gulf of Mexico and the Allies launch a simultaneous land and sea invasion after a huge air raid on August 1st. The Southern American Empire is able to hold up much longer than the North because Emperor Esten is much more experienced and simply smarter and wiser than Neigton was. The western Empire, which calls itself the Mexican Empire, also holds up longer and fights the hardest out of the two remaining Empires; Allied troops are pushed out of Cuba; The members of the Scandinavian Union merge into the Republic of Scandinavia; The Filipino rebellion is crushed by Chinese troops; Australian colonists expand their territory into former Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Tanzania.
2068: Realizing that the war that his predecessor had started was pointless, Emperor Esten sued for peace before the Allied Navy of the Gulf could make another devastating attack. The Treaty of Monterrey was signed. The Southern Empire (re-)joined NAAP. The Southern Empire now consisted of area that completely surrounded the Gulf of Mexico in most of it's former territory. The Southern Empire reclaimes the title of American Empire and the Mexican Empire becomes a completely separate entity. Many people rioted because of the poor living conditions and horrid economic stability. During the next five years, multiple Emperors rise and fall, starting with the Assassination of Emperor Esten at the hands of Imperial Counsilman Greg Reinsbeck, Emperor Reinsbeck the Great's nephew. He is the first and only Emperor to be related to one of his predecessors and the only Emperor who truly carries the number and name of Reinsbeck. He is known as Reinsbeck III (Brian Neigton was never considered an Emperor because of his inability to keep the Northern Empire intact). He ruled for a mere five months. He boosted the economic conditions to near pre-war conditions, but he was killed by a group of nationalists. After his assassination, his best friend, Don Archamy took the throne in honor of him. After the end of the Days of Global Darkness, many people tried to re-establish order in many parts of the world that did not experience the Minor World Order. Also, after DGD ended, fighting across the world almost completely halted and many of the surviving/newly born countries signed the Treaty of Mankind in 2092.
