10,000 A.D., 8,000 years since the Great Fire destroyed the Old Civilization and the world regressed back to the pre-neolithic technology and anarchy reins supreme as many governments collapse due to the post-war world as much flora and fauna was either vaporized or mutated from exposure to vast amounts of radiation and food and water supplies were poisoned. Humanity has entered the Second Dark Ages.
Lasts from 2121 to 4000, which much of Earth's surface is reduced to ashes and humanity meeks a small little life on the surface but many build massive networks of caves to live in. Much culture of the Old Time (the world before the Great Fire) has faded but much of it is told as fables to the youth, and the birth rate is extremely low and people only live to see thirty years of age.
