The Russian Invasion of Ukraine was a 2 year long war that existed on the borders of the Russians and the Ukrainians. This was the first battle in the war, that would soon bring other battles into the mix of the game. The war concluded with a Ukrainian capitulation against Russian forces, which gave Russia more fronts to attack the alliance of NATO.

January - The Russian invasion of Ukraine sparked many NATO members to intervene in the war. The invasion started with a push towards the portentous Ukrainian city of Luhansk, a lesser defended area the Ukrainians set up defensive lines against. Russian artillery strikes against key strongholds weakened the Ukraine supply line, which crippled the supplies for the armed forces.
