Republic of Seattle was a country formed in the late 2030s from the United States secession, after the Cascadian civil war, which split the country of Cascadia into different countries. Seattle developed into one of the most advanced economies in the Northwest. Seattle can be compared to Portugal based on the goverrnment. It is technologically advanced at a level of Japan. It is a technocracy. It has a parliament like many of the western countries of the American land. Seattle has the second highest HDI in the world.
