Pythagoras E-6 is a warp probe launched by TASA on April 27, 2225. Part of the Pythagoras program to study the warp drive. Because Pythagoras E-6 moved at ten times the speed of light (warp 2.15), it therefore took 159.61 days to get to Alpha Centauri (α Centauri, abbreviated Alpha Cen, α Cen), about 4.37 light-years (1.34 pc) from the Sun.
