Global Re-Alignment is a fictional scenario for the future in which a global re-alignment takes place in the years after 2025 following events relating to conflicts in the Middle East and the tenure of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Its point of divergence is an increase in escalation in the Middle East, following an exchange of strikes between the Iran, on the one hand, and the United States and Israel on the other.

The scenario is fictional, exploring an unlikely possible development of the events at the time of its creation (June, 2025) and does not seek to have a predictive, or any other function. Any similarities with historical developments after its creation are wholly unintentional and coincidental. The scenario may at times take inspiration from preceding events, and treats all historical events prior to its point of divergence (the summer of 2025) as the same as those of 'real world' history. All articles attached to the scenario do not seek to propagate for, or articulate any political ideology, and are written in an encyclopedic, Wikipedia style (reduction of biased or emotive language wherether possible; writing from a post-factum point of view). Any qoutes from, or statements included in the articles (even if said by incumbent or former politicians, or other public figures) should be treated as completely fictional after June, 2025. Descriptions of actions and events should also be treated as purely speculative and fictional. Imaginary persons are used, and any similarity between said persons and living persons (be it in terms of their names, character or otherwise) are coincidental.

All images, unless stated otherwise, have been taken from the Wikimedia Commons project (making them free and available to use). AI-generated imagery has also been used, in order to not misrepresent imagery from existing events and due to the constraints of the author of the scenario, however in those cases it has been cited.
