Gabe Newell (Newell's America)

Gabe Newell (November 3rd, 1962 - December 3rd, 2043) was an American CEO turned politician who served as 47th President of the United States from 2029 to 2037. He is the second business man to serve as President after Donald Trump (2017-2021).

CEO of Valve Corporation (1996 - 2029)

Before Pursuing Presidential ambitions, Newell was CEO of the video game company of Valve Corporation. Games such as Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, CS:GO, Dota, and other games brought the company lots of revenue. The launch of Steam in 2003 saw Valve become the largest video game publisher on the planet.

"Draft Gabe Newell" Movement (2012-2027)

As early as the 2012 elections, there were movements started to Draft Gabe Newell into the election as a candidate. Many of the posts were ironic, but Newell admitted that these movements were ultimately responsible for inspiring him to run. On October 10th, 2027 on the 20 year anniversary of Team Fortress 2, Gabe Newell announced he was running for President (and that 4 new hats were being added to TF2).

Presidential Run (2027-2028)

On October 10th, 2027 on the 20 year anniversary of Team Fortress 2, Gabe Newell announced his candidacy for President on the Green Party ticket, Scout's voice actor Nathan Vetterlein of Massachusetts was his running mate. Newell ran with the Green Party and was considered a long shot at first, but his popularity grew as Vice President Gabbard and Donald Trump Jr. faced their own scandals while Newell remained relatively unscathed.

Presidency (2029 - 2037)

Gabe Newell won the 2028 election against Democrat Tulsi Gabbard and Republican Donald Trump Jr. with 50.2% of the popular vote. In the early part of his Presidency, Newell began implementing environmental regulations and expanding on those put in during the Sanders Presidency.

Post Presidency (2037 - 2043)

After leaving the White House, Newell stayed out of politics for the most part. He endorsed Nathan Vetterlein in the 2036 elections and then stayed out of politics for the most part. He and other living Presidents went to Florida to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Jelhoon. Aside from this, Newell died in 2043 shortly after leaving office. The cause of his death was unknown and is still debated by historians.
