This map game takes place during the Great Ice Age, a glacial period on Earth brought on by excessive global cooling due to laws which forced nations to use renewable energy (wind, sunlight, rain, etc.). This decision would lead to the greenhouse gases becoming non-existent over many years. By 2197, meteorological scientists caught on to the disappearance of the gases and alerted the United States government.
