The 2030s will be a cross hybrid of many fads and trends that were popular during the 2000s and 2010s decade along with the 1960s. By the 2030s, there will be a backlash against the more conservative values (which started after the surprise vote of Donald Trump in the 2016 election ) of the late 2010s and 2020s, and many trends are become looser. This is when "Generation Y" will begin to get nostalgic and running the show, as Generation X did in the late 2010s and 2020s. With the retirement age for Generation X at 70, they will continue to reign into the '30s and '40s.

Reality TV makes a strong comeback with nostalgia of 2000s type reality shows such as Survivor and Fear Factor.

Comeback of emo and scene fashion with a more modern twist

Enviromentalism makes a comeback with the increased focus on global warming


Retro version of the iPod will be released

More liberal politic beliefs; more likely to get a Democratic president as people look back at the great things that Barack Obama has done in the 2010s. It will be very likely that we might get our first woman president and a small neo-feminist movement might take place . We would be looking back at the failed attempt to get the first woman president in the 2016 election but we did successfully elected one in the 2036 election.

The first person from Generation Y will be elected President during this era. Nostalgia from earlier liberal Presidents such as Bill Clinton and JFK will result in a young President similar to JFK.
