The European Federation is a political, economic, and military union that was built from the ashes of the former European Coalition. The country (Though publicized as an evolution of the European Union) is the first united European Government that had been seen since the Roman Empire and the Hapsburg Empire. Initially, the European Federation grew from complete ashes, but it had since managed to grow to not only have a population greater than the United States but a GNP and GDP larger than that of the United States.
Since the countries formation, it has built itself a network of "acquittances" that span all across the globe. These acquittances included the United States of America, the Peoples' Republic of China, the United Korean Republic, and other countries. But the country has also found itself opposed by states such as the Russian Federation and the Federation of the Americas.

Formation[]
After the Great Solar Flare of 2020 and forced humanity into a long period of technological inferiority and a rise in Ultranationalist ideals. After the Russian Federation fell to an Ultranationalist Government, then the United States fell to Ultranationalism, it only seemed evident that the European Union would find itself in the same situation.
As the decades progressed, and Russia became the worlds leading economic and military superpower on the planet, the idea of a United European State started to emerge for the first time in more than 100 years. This United Europe would consist of the European Union's member states, but also have close economic ties with its member states' overseas dominions and territories.
After the European-Iranian War ended in a stalemate for the European Union, Ultranationalism swept throughout the European Union. Many people saw the current European Union as unable to be an effective force, and the only way to preserve the friendship of the European Union member states appeared to be that of unification. The idea took many years to implement, as a new constitution, new economic conditions, new armed forces, and new capital would have to be established, but it eventually took hold.
The "European Federation" was officially formed in 2062 under the Hamburg Accords. The Capital of the European Federation would be Brussels, Belgium with three international cities of Paris, Hamburg, and Warsaw. The European Federation rose the ranks to be the most technologically advanced nation in the new world, and it's the third most powerful nation in the known world, right underneath the African Union. The country has several overseas dominions such as French Guinea, Madagascar, and the Falkland Islands, whose citizens are treated as European Federation Citizens.
Fall of the EF[]
The fall of the European Federation began in 2098 when the Scandinavian countries of Sweden and Finland declared independence from the European Federation, and Norway and Finland even joined in the fun. Together these nations formed the Second Kalmar Union. Denmark was initially going to break away from the EF, however after the EF increased the number of troops in the region, it lead to a great deal of tension between the Second Kalmar Union and the European Federation.
The second blow to the European Federation began in 2099 when the nations of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Belarus, who felt that their voice was not being recognized by the international community, and after the European Federation detained thousands of Slavic Russians and other Russian Ethnicities living in those regions. These nations formed the "Warsaw-Sarajevo Commonwealth" which was immediately denounced by the European Federation, which sparked into all-out war. Initially, the Warsaw-Sarajevo Commonwealth and the Second Kalmar Union were allies against a common enemy, however, after some tense relations and a minor skirmish, the two began to fight each other.
The European Civil War is still unresolved as of the year 2110, and thousands of casualties have been lost in the fighting across the continent. There are rumors that foreign intervention might occur, however, there has been no update on that considering the fate the world is going to.
Federation-American War[]
After the Great Titan War at the end of 2027, the European Coalition (An evolved EU) was left in an awkward spot. The European Coalition stood as the world's last superpower on the planet, effectively managing to occupy the United States, the Russian Federation, the Peoples' Republic of China, and other states. The problem was that the European Coalition was not a unified government, and each one of its member states had its initiatives to how the occupation should run. This internal bickering, coupled with the decline in oil production from the Middle East, lead to a steady economic decline in all corners of the world.
In 2036, the United Arab Emirates collapsed into Civil War. The resulting collapse of the United Arab Emirates, a European Coalition Dominion, saw the European Economy tank. As the recession continued, the European Coalition found it difficult to maintain order in their occupied territories. Things then finally ground to a halt in 2037, when a terrorist attack at the Panama Canal cut off global shipping. On New Years Day of 2038, the European Coalitions Economy crashed, leading to the crash of the American, Russian, and Chinese economies.
The Great Collapse as it later became known swept through the world, new states formed out of the resulting economic and political crisis, the idea of a United European State became a reality. The formation of the Federation of the Americas contributed to the fuel that would spark needed to create a United European State. In 2053, as the European-Iranian War continued to appear unwinnable, the European Coalition met in Paris to begin the process of a brand new United European State for the first time in more than 200 years.
In 2055, the European Powers officially signed the "Paris Accords" document. The document officially ceased the operations of the European Coalition and the beginning of a new era. The European Federation was officially created on November 1st, 2055 as the first United European State in more than 200 years. With a population, GDP, GNP, and military capabilities larger than that of the United States, it was a formidable opponent in its own right.

Enforcer Corps[]
The ground force of the European Federation is comprised of the European Federation Enforcer Corps is the foremost military organization of the European Federation. Calm and precise, the European Federation Enforcer Corps is comprised of highly-trained and experienced soldiers that are especially skilled in urban warfare. The European Federation Enforcer Corps is one of the most technologically advanced armies in the world. So much so, that the Enforcer Corps excels in electronic warfare, second only to that of the Federation of the Americas. In addition to these advantages in Electronic Warfare, the Enforcer Corps also has access to some of the world's best "less than lethal" weaponry and has some of the best known rapid deployments on the planet.
The specialist elite of the European Enforcer Corps is that of The Kommando Riflemen. This is essentially a combination of several noted military groups, including Task Force Rainbow, GSG-9, and the GIGN, as well as members from other special and elite forces from the former European countries. To put it rather quite simply, the European Federation Enforcer Corps is one of the most elite militaries in the world, carrying out high-risk missions and aimed at the forefront of assaults and placed to defend critical locations.
The Enforcers Corps is divided into main battle groups, equivalent to that of the Battalion System used in many of the world's armed forces. With a holdover from the days of Napoleon Bonaparte, each Battlegroup of the European Enforcer corps is comprised of its infantry, mechanized equipment, and support regiments. They are tailored to meet specific requirements such in armored, mechanized, and electronic warfare, or to provide airborne capabilities.
Given the language barrier that is imposed by the European Federation, training for the Enforcer Corps is one of the hardest in the world. European Federation Soldiers have to learn a host of languages including but not limited to English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Italian, Danish, Russian, and a host of other languages. This isn't just limited to the European Enforcer Corps, but all the branches of the European Federations armed forces.
The European Enforcer Corps in addition operates the European Federation Airborne Corps. The European Federation Airborne Corps is the air support for the European Enforcer Corps and is comprised of some of the most advanced fighter and attack aircraft in the world, While the Europeans were unable to master the laser and energy weaponry of the Federation of the Americas, the Europeans were able to outmatch the capabilities of the United States and Russian Air Force.

While the European Federation Enforcer Corps is the backbone of the ground operations, the European Federation also has the European Federation Navy. The European Federation Navy is a combination of all of the former European Coalition member states. Originally consisting of different ships from various builders and its various members, the European Federation Navy has evolved into a single unified command navy with standards for aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, and much more. Although the Navy is technically part of the unified command structure like the ground and air forces are, the navy is given semi-autonomy in command compared to the Air Force and Ground Force.
United Nations Civil War[]
The European Federation Navy is known to be one of the largest in the world, including 12 Aircraft Carriers, One Super-Carrier, and several destroyers. The last estimated total ship count was 300, larger than the United States and the Peoples Republic of China, but below that of the Russian Federation. Given the language barrier of the European Federation, the European Federation Navy is equipped with automatic translators depending on the crew that operates the ship. At one point, the European Federation claimed to have 330 Warships, including 12 Aircraft Carriers, three supercarriers, a host of destroyers and frigates, as well as hovercraft too.
After the United Nations Civil War, the European Federation Navy decreased in size significantly, with 150 warships. Nearly its entire carrier fleet was destroyed except for three aircraft carriers. Given the near nonexistent economy of the European Federation and the ongoing European Civil War, it doesn't appear that they have the capabilities to replace their losses anytime soon.
Federation War[]
The European Federation Navy was noted to have once grown in size to become the to be the third-largest in the world, behind the Federation of the Americas and the Peoples Republic of China, but ahead of the United States and the Russian Federation. The Navy had a total of 340 ships compared to the Federation's 560 ships and the Peoples Republic of China's 410 ships. This included eight aircraft carriers and two supercarriers, supported by a host of destroyers, frigates, cruisers, and a host of other naval craft. This was a massive undertaking since the size of the Royal Navy of the British Empire.
After the Federation War, the European Federation's Navy was decimated beyond repair. The naval size went from 340 ships from the start of the war to a mere 98 ships after the war. This was mostly due to Operation: Scorched Earth, with the Federation using its ZEUS Satellites to wipe out most of the invading UNSC forces. Luckily though, after the war, the European Federation joined the one world economy and military that was imposed by the UNSC for the reconstruction.
Space Force[]
The European Federation like most of the powers of the era was nothing new to space militarization. Under the European Coalition, the European Coalition was the second in history to include a space force in its armed forces. Although, this space force was mostly comprised of French, German, and British Astronauts that were going to the international space station. After the European Federation was officially created on November 1st, 2055, the European Federation absorbed the space force into its armed forces.
Territory[]

The European Federation's territory consists of the European Union's original member states, but it also includes some new members that were not in the European Union and some previous members who left. Some members of the European Federation such as the United Kingdom and Iceland are "Loose Members" which means they have their government and have their militaries separate from the European Federation Government and military. Some countries in the European Continent such as Switzerland and Vatican City had no desire to join the European Federation. Other countries such as Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo were rejected due to the conflicts that were erupting in that region. However, one country, aka Turkey, was rejected membership of the European Federation outright.

In addition to these member states, the European Federation has multiple overseas territories. These included multiple islands across the world that once belonged to the French Empire. However, the European Federation also has special "Commonwealths," nations that were part of the French and British Commonwealths that were technically politically and economically aligned with the European Federation, but not member states. These countries however are treated as member states and have access to the same rights as citizens of the European Federation.
Government[]
United Nations Civil War[]
The European Federation is mostly a left Authoritarian State. The Government of the European Federation maintains loose control over its citizens, however, the European Federation uses secret police and other methods to try and sway political opposition. One offense is making fun of the Prime Minister of the European Federation. Depending on the severity of the so-called "offense" it could either walk free or you could end up in jail for three years. The citizens of the European Federation mostly just went along with what the Government told them to do.
After the Russian Federation was defeated during the United Nations Civil War, the European Federation toughened its rules and became more strict, most notably in Eastern Europe. During the United Nations Civil War when Russia occupied the European continent, the Russians treated fellow Eastern Europeans with kindness and gave them everything they wanted. After Russia was defeated, the European Federation imposed a strict quota the Eastern European territories had to meet, and Enforcer Corps troops also put in curfews and even stepped up surveillance in from places. This was until the Eastern European nations rebelled and declared their independence.
As of 2110, the European Federation still exists, however, its member states have been severely reduced to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. The nation is still bogged down with constant warfare within its borders between local insurgent groups, Warsaw-Sarajevo Commonwealth, and the Second Kalmar Union, which has been going on for over 10 years. The future of the nation seems uncertain at this time.
Federation Crusade[]
The European Federation is, as the title implies, a Federation/Presidential Republic. Its Government is mostly leaning towards the left, however, it does have some right aspects to its government. The Government of the European Federation is divided into three parts. The first and largest branch is the "Local Councils" in which each member state holds an election for people who will represent their state. The next branch is the council of the European Federation, in which each local council representative meets in Brussels, Belgium. Then there is the "Head of State Council" which consists of the Prime Minister of the European Federation and his/her advisors. Each "Division" as the European Government called it has the power to override and overrule the other.
After the end of the Federation-American War, the European Federation was reestablished. Despite the European Continent being wiped off the face of the Earth, the European Federation continued to try and maintain order and stability with some help from the Russian Government. It's still in the process of rebuilding from the Federation-American War, but it is mostly on the right track.
