- Emperor Samuel VII was born on the Siriusian planet of Xylanthia. His birth came during the Five Days' Revolution, when Xylanthia was seized by the Rosetta Empire. This marked the first martial conflict between the Galactic Union and the Empire, and Samuel VII immigrated to Rosetta IV shortly before the end of the Five Days' Revolution. Due to this, many critics view his rule as illegitimate, but his benevolence during his reign force many people to see otherwise. He was assassinated in 2957, and many people believe that the assassin was Lo Tan Wiona, who was nonetheless elected Emperor Samuel VIII in the Imperial Conclave of 2957.
