The Republic of East Poland (Polish: Rzeczpospolita Polska Wschodnia, Russian: Республика Восточная Польша) also known as East Poland and Russian Poland is a federal republic of Russia, and one of three of Russia's exclaves, the other two being Kaliningrad and Russian Korea.
It was created from the Russo-Polish War, in which Russian forces invaded eastern Poland upon learning of NATO placing missiles in Poland, in what Russia and Belarus perceived as a act of a pre-emptive strike.
The borders of East Poland are based off of the 1939 borders between the Soviet Union and Germany, in which modern-day East Poland occupies the same areas that the Soviets occupied. Western Poland remains part of the Republic of Poland.
History[]
In 2018, Russian military radars in Kaliningrad detected NATO missiles being placed in Poland. As a result, Russian forces stationed ballistic missiles in Kaliningrad.
The incident only escalated when the Polish government accused the Russians of being instigators of war, and called for an invasion of Kaliningrad.
As a result, Russian president Vladimir Putin approved for full military mobilization of Russian troops. The Be!arusian government soon joined in, accusing Poland of being the aggressors.
In the war, far-right and anti-Semitic groups in Poland used the Union State invasion as an opportunity to gain power, as they shared a mutual hatred of NATO. Adam Gmurczyk, the leader of the far-right National Revivalist Party, welcomed the Union State forces. The Revivalists formed the Revivalist Army, under Russian support.
The RA was given not only Russian weapons, but also vehicles and technology to operate. The RA helped the Russian invaders, and also carried out their own combat operations against government forces.
The 2019 Russo-Polish War concluded with a Union State victory, the NATO missiles and equipment captured and salvaged by the Union State military.
......as the Union State forces closed in on Warsaw, not wanting to lose Warsaw, the Polish government sued for peace. Russia and Poland signed the Treaty of Warsaw, giving Russia control of eastern Poland, identical to the 1939 territories controlled by the Soviet Union after the joint German and Soviet invasion of Poland, and i ts consequent partition.
This event was known as the 2019 Partition of Poland.
Russian-controlled Poland inherited the same borders and territoris that the Soviets occupied after the 1939 Partition of Poland between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
The Russian government installed a Head position. Adam Gmurczyk amicably left the National Revivalist Party, and went to go join the United Russia Party, whilst maintaining his ties to the Revivalists. Gmurczyk was elected as the Head of the Republic of East Poland.
