Donald J. Trump is an American politician, business magnate and entrepreneur who served as the 45th President of the United States, during which he is most known for indirectly contributing to the deadliest conflict in human history, although many historians fault him directly for the immediate causes leading up to World War III.

Trump was born and raised in New York City, where he earned an economics degree from Wharton University. He then took charge of the Trump Organization in 1976, which he helmed for 25 years until his election as President in 2016. During his real estate career, Trump built, renovated and managed numerous office towers, hotels, casinos and golf courses. Besides real estate, Trump has licensed his name as a brand to many side ventures. His net worth is estimated to be 4.9 billion dollars as of 2029 (the last time his whereabouts were known), which at that time made him the 545th richest person on the planet.

Trump first expressed interest in politics in 1987, and won two Reform Party primaries in 2000 but withdrew his candidacy early on. In June 2015 he launched his 2016 presidential campaign, which would become the most controversial in American political history. Then-candidate Trump was exposed by lewd tapes depicting him encouraging sexual assault, which was perhaps the most extreme example of his infamously-flawed moral standards. Another such controversy became the phone call he received from former-President Bill Clinton, husband to his campaign rival Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a mere two weeks before announcing his candidacy for President of the United States.

Removal from Office[]

President Trump was removed from office on March 7, 2019, a mere 4 months after Democrats won the 2018 midterm elections. His successor, President Cruz, pardoned him, and in response lost the 2020 election to Elizabeth A. Warren.
