DisneyNet is a popular streaming service started in 2019 by the Walt DIsney Company.
History[]
It was announced in August 2017, when Disney said it would be pulling support from Netflix.
In 2018, it was announced that Netflix's attempt to keep the distrubtion rights of Marvel and Star Wars movies on Netflix had failed. They would be taken off the service, and put on Disney's new service.
It launched in July of 2019, in its first year it had multiple Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and LucasFilms movies.
In 2020, Disney Channel Movies were added to the selecion, as well as current Disney Shows.
In 2021, older Disney shows, such as Gravity Falls, Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, and Hannah Montana, were added to the service.
