The 2025 Australian Federal Election was held on Saturday the 15th of November 2025 to elect members of the 48th Parliament of Australia.
All 151 seats in the lower house, the House of Representatives, and 40 or 76 of the 76 seats in the upper house, the Senate, was up for election.
The incumbent Labor Government led by Anthony Albanese has won a Second-Three year term against Opposition Leader Dave Sharma
Future Prime Minister Joseph Brosnahan has been elected on that election as the Member for Corio replacing the Retiring Richard Marles MP who was Deputy Prime Minister from 2022 to 2025
