The 88th Academy Awards were held February 28, 2016, to celebrate the best motion pictures and motion picture performances for 2015. They were presented on behalf of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA, with Chris Rock hosting the ceremony for the second time.
