The 2036 United States Presidential Election was the 63rd quadrennial presidential election occurring November 4, 2036. Democratic Senator from Georgia Jon Ossoff won the election with running mate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Senator from New York and former Secretary of Energy under Kamala Harris, won the election against incumbent President Larry Hogan and Vice President Ben Sasse. Hogan and Sasse had switched parties in 2035 to the Conservative party, as both were more moderate, and as many Republicans were also doing so following the party's rise and the death of Donald Trump, the main face of the party. As there were not many candidates to put forward, Kanye West, former Governor of Wyoming was nominated and chose former Lousiana Governor Bobby Jindal as his running mate.
