The 2032 Presidential Election took place on November 2, 2032. The race was between President Benjamin Shapiro, Connecticut Governor Christopher Murphy, former Secretary of Homeland Security Peter Buttigieg, and former Florida Governor and 2028 Republican running mate Ronald DeSantis. With Shapiros approval rating very high and the economy running in a free fast pace, he easily won re-election in another landslide. Murphy was considered weak especially on foreign policy, Buttigieg didn't really discuss policies but rather than himself and his past, and DeSantis's policies were a repeat of the one's from former Presidential nominee Marco Rubio. The results were Shapiro 392, Murphy 69, Buttigieg 46, and DeSantis 29.
The main topics of the election were World War III, trade, relations with Australia and India, immigration, and education.
