The 2028 United States presidential election was the 61th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 7, 2028. The Democratic ticket of former Denver mayor Michael Hancock and Tim Kaine defeated the Republican ticket of president Kanye West and Michelle Tidball. Hancock took office as the 47th president, and Kaine as the 50th vice president. West is the first president since George W. H. Bush to not serve a second term.
