2028 Republican Primary (Mercbl)

The 2028 Republican Presidential Primary saw candidates make a bid for the position of Republican nominee, the largest ever number for a Presidential primary.

Multiple candidates qualified for the first debate however polling showed it being a 1v1 near the beginning of the Iowa caucus with multiple candidates backing out and choosing to endorse Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump Jr. Ron secured the nomination and chose Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin as his running mate. Donald Trump Jr after claiming the nomination was stolen from him attempted to run as a third party candidate however, he soon withdrew completely and declined to endorse DeSantis due to “fraud”.

DeSantis would go on to claim victory in the 2028 presidential election.
