Elections to the United States Senate were held on November 3, 2026 with the 34 Class 2 seats of the Senate being contested in regular elections. The candidates winning the regular elections served six-year terms from January 3, 2027 to January 3, 2033. Additionally, two special elections were held in the states of Florida and Ohio.
Democrats gained three seats as part of the backlash against the fascist Trump regime, falling short of the majority with a narrow loss in Texas and allowing the GOP to retain control with the tie-breaking vote of Vice President JD Vance.
