The 2024 United States presidential election was the 60th quadrennial election. Re-election candidate Bernie Sanders, and his running mate Elizabeth Warren, defeats Marco Rubio and his running mate, Ben Sasse.
Due to Sanders policies directed at free healthcare, dentalcare, medicare, and other free stuff, many states across America approved of Sanders. Nationwide polling considers Sanders as one of the most approved presidents, with a 68% approval rating. Many people supported Sanders, and even named him as the "face of American progression". One of the states that flipped for Sanders was Nebraska, as many people across many states moved to Nebraska for work opportunity, with 87% of the group being Democrats. In the 2022 Midterm elections, Nebraska flipped due to the improvement of healthcare in Nebraska, as well as many other social programs and jobs.
