The 2020 US Senate Elections were held on November 3, 2020 along with the presidential election and other elections also.
The Democratic Party won the majority of seats with 51 seats by gaining the Arizona special election and Colorado, North Carolina, Maine and Kentucky. The Republicans gained Alabama.
The Democratic Party had a boost due to Bernie Sanders winning the 2020 presidential election.

One special election was held due to John McCain's passing in 2018. Incumbent Senator Jon Kyl (R) retired. The seat became a pickup for the democrats with Ruben Gallego.
