The 2020 Presidential Election was held on November 3, 2020 between President Donald Trump and Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. Tulsi Gabbard won the election 343-195 making her the first female, Hawaiian, and Hindu to be elected president along with being the youngest elected at age 39 along with winning the popular vote.
The main topics during the election were healthcare, military spending, Venezuela, North Korea, Saudi Arabia. climate change, education and regime change wars. Gabbards message of ending regime change wars and serving the needs of people above self attracted Bernie supporters, independents, libertarians, young people, females, college students and graduates, a lot of republicans, and even some former Trump supporters. With the situation going on at Venezuela and the Saudi deal, Trumps approval rating was at 46% which caused him to lose supporters and re-election.
